Barangaroo is home to a unique portfolio of extraordinary event spaces against the natural beauty of Sydney Harbour.
Barangaroo is a prime harbourside destination, delivering a unique portfolio of original and thought-provoking event spaces against the natural beauty of Sydney Harbour.
Barangaroo welcomes and encourages all types of photographers in our public areas.
Amateur photographers are welcome and do not require a permit. However, like other popular public places around Sydney, Barangaroo has a permit system in place for commercial filming and photography, ranging from single commercial photographers to large-scale TV commercial shoots.
The system allows us to ensure that people doing professional work in the precinct have the appropriate insurance. It means we can work with you to create the perfect shot, to coordinate access as required and to notify retailers and other businesses at Barangaroo of your presence in the area at a particular time.
The permit is a simple form that takes a couple of minutes to complete. Inquire now
Working news media should check contact details in the Media Centre.
