Filming and photography
Barangaroo welcomes and encourages all types of photographers in our public areas. Visitors are welcome to take photographs and do not require a permit. However, like other popular public places around Sydney, Barangaroo has a permit system in place for commercial filming and photography, ranging from single commercial photographers to large-scale TV commercial shoots.
Wedding ceremonies

Picnics
Barangaroo Reserve is the perfect spot for a harbourside picnic. As well as providing a new perspective on Sydney Harbour, Barangaroo Reserve features lookouts, idyllic coves and a variety of picnic spots.
Permits
The Barangaroo Delivery Authority is the Roads Authority for Hickson Road between Argyle Place and Shelley St, and Napoleon Street to the intersection of Kent St.
The Authority issues Permits under the Roads Act and Application Forms and supporting material can be downloaded here.
