The new public transport timetable coming into effect on Sunday 26 November is a major bonus for ferry commuters, with a significant increase in services to Barangaroo.

The new F4 Cross Harbour route means people can catch a ferry from Watsons Bay and Rose Bay to Barangaroo for the first time. This route is an expansion of the existing F4 route, and will now run in two directions rather than a loop which means people coming from Pyrmont can get to Barangaroo in one stop, rather than having to ride the entire F4 loop.

The new timetable means the F4 service will arrive at Barangaroo:

  • 78 times per day on weekdays (up from the current 33 arrivals)
  • 88 times per day on weekends (up from 36)
  • 88 times per day on public holidays (up from 36)

There are also some changes to the F3 Parramatta River service. People are encouraged to plan their journeys at www.transportnsw.info

The new timetable means the green travel options to Barangaroo are better than ever. The Wynyard Walk provides a seamless and accessible link to the rail network, while regular buses up and down Hickson Road provide ever more options. There are also 1,100 bicycle parking spaces and great end of trip facilities under the International Towers Sydney.

It is all part of Barangaroo’s commitment to sustainability and to become the first precinct globally to be carbon neutral.
