Community and Neighbours

Keep in touch with remediation and construction activity at the Barangaroo project. For all information regarding construction, remediation activities, major events and planning proposals, please head to the Resource Centre.

Infrastructure NSW is committed to keeping in contact with neighbours and other communities during the planning, construction and operation of Barangaroo.

Barangaroo, Millers Point, and Walsh Bay are home to a number of diverse and vibrant communities. The construction and remediation work along Hickson Road and within Barangaroo can be viewed by residents along Kent Street and High Street, and from across the Harbour in Pyrmont and Balmain.

We know that Barangaroo, Millers Point and the surrounding neighbourhoods also hold special significance to a wide range of people, including Aboriginal communities, European history enthusiasts, and gardeners. There are 16,000 people working in the Barangaroo precinct (as at June 2017) with more to come, and many thousands of people working in the surrounding area.

For further information call 1300 966 480, email barangaroo.info@infrastructure.nsw.gov.au or visit us on weekdays from 9:00am-5:00pm at Level 27, AON/Maritime Trade Towers, 201 Kent Street, Sydney NSW 2000.
