We acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora nation as the First Peoples and Traditional Custodians of this land. We offer our respect to their Elders both past and present.

We acknowledge this place is named after Barangaroo, a leader of the Cammeraygal people and wife of Bennelong of the Wangal people, who played a significant role within her community and that of the early British colony.

Harbour Park

At the heart of Central Barangaroo is the Harbour Park. Measuring 1.85 hectares in size, it will be a place for everyone to gather on Sydney’s foreshore. The Harbour Park will build on our commitment to ensure more than half of Barangaroo is public open space.

The Harbour Park sits on the harbour’s edge within Central Barangaroo. Bound by Barangaroo Avenue to the east, Sydney Harbour and Wulugul Walk to the west, Nawi Cove to the north and Crown Resort to the south.

The following six objectives for Harbour Park will guide its planning, design and delivery.
