Fashions of Multicultural Australia (FOMA) is a first-ever national initiative that celebrates cultural diversity and combines a spectacular runway show with engaging cultural designer hubs.

You are invited to experience the premiere of this brand new event at Sydney’s newest creative space, the Cutaway in Barangaroo Reserve. Showcasing designers and trend-setters from across the globe, attendees can expect to see a showcase of international, Indigenous Australian, migrant and refugee designers as they converge and collaborate on stage.

From midday until 5pm, you can experience the FOMA Designer and Embassy Exhibition that showcases the many diverse communities that make up Australia’s multicultural landscape.

See, feel, taste, smell and view significant items that reflect cultural identity. You can sample one of Ireland’s most successful Whiskey exports, play dress up in a traditional Korean Hanbok, or enjoy a traditional Indonesian Coffee as an exciting range of Latin American music resonates throughout the Cutaway.
Register for a free ticket to immerse yourself in Australia’s multicultural landscape and discover the impact of fashion transnationally.

Following the FOMA Cultural Exhibition at 5.30pm is a spectacular Runway Showcase where a curated selection 15 local and international designers will showcase couture, designs, stories, and perspectives from across Australia and the globe.
Secure your ticket today to experience this unique fashion spectacle and celebrate multicultural Australia. $1 from each ticket sale will be donated to FOMA’s charity partner Dress for Success.

FOMA is proudly supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Australia Korea Foundation.
