The Barangaroo Delivery Authority is a NSW Government agency established under the Barangaroo Delivery Authority Act 2009 to manage the waterfront development at Barangaroo. The Authority is the landowner, and oversees all design, sustainability, financial, public art and public domain obligations throughout the tenure.
The Barangaroo Delivery Authority Act 2009 was established on 30 March 2009 to specify the Authority's functions, and to provide for other matters related to the development, use and management of Barangaroo.

The assessment of planning applications is undertaken independently by the NSW Department of Planning and Infrastructure. All planning applications and determinations can be viewed at the NSW Department of Planning and Environment's website.
The Authority is also responsible for all roads at Barangaroo under the Roads Regulation 2008, reinforcing the NSW Government's commitment to the successful implementation of this landmark development.
