Follow the Barangaroo development journey, from a 22-hectare disused container wharf to Sydney's vibrant new waterfront precinct.
Delivering Barangaroo as an exciting new destination involves planning of exceptional public spaces with built-in sustainability and connectivity through integrated, active transport links.
Barangaroo is an exciting new destination on Sydney's western waterfront, and there is still so much to look forward to. Since mid-2017, approximately 16,000 people have been working in the three International Towers Sydney. Barangaroo Wharf is open, and Wynyard Walk tunnel is bringing people to the precinct from the station in just four minutes.
Infrastructure NSW's role is to guide all development and ensure the best outcome for the people of New South Wales. It is drawing on the best of local and international designers, architects, landscape architects and urban planners to deliver a world-class site.
