Terms & conditions of entry

Plan for your trip to NAIDOC Up Late: Trailblazers
  1. By attending NAIDOC Up Late: Trailblazer at The Cutaway, Barangaroo, all attendees agree to these terms and conditions and to follow the directions of Place Management NSW (PMNSW) at all times.
  2. The area of the event is restricted to The Cutaway, Barangaroo. The time period of the event is 1:00pm on 1 July 2023 to 10:00pm on 1 July 2023.
  3. Attendees must abide by the following conditions
    • Attendees must comply if requested for bag searches made by PMNSW staff at the entrance of the event are 
    • Intoxicated persons will not be permitted entry. • Intoxicated persons will be removed from the premises
    • Persons supplying liquor to minors will be report to NSW Police.
    • All minors under the age of 18yrs must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  4. Attendees must NOT bring the following items into the event:
    • any illicit substances;
    • any beverage that is not sealed (this includes thermoses);
    • glassware or breakable containers;
    • hard eskies or any soft esky larger than 20 litre capacity;
    • offensive weapons including large knives, laser pointers and potential missiles; • umbrellas above 50cm in length, tarps, tents, shade structures, tables, milk crates or chairs (other than low line beach chairs);
    • pegs or other means of penetration of the turf;
    • fireworks or sparklers,open flames including candles, party poppers, balloons;
    • BBQs and cooking equipment;
    • footballs, frisbees, skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, bicycles, kites or drones;
    • pets other than Assistance Dogs; and
    • any item which PMNSW considers a threat to public safety, or a possible cause of nuisance or offence
    • Restricted items will be confiscated.
  5. PMNSW may refuse any person entry to The Cutaway, Barangaroo, and may require any such person to immediately leave the event venue for safety reasons where that person:
    • is intoxicated;
    • is engaging in behaviour which PMNSW deems to be anti-social or dangerous;
    • refuses to relinquish restricted items; or
    • otherwise fails to comply with these terms and conditions.
  6. By attending this event, participants agree to release PMNSW from all claims (including for negligence) arising from any injury, loss or damage of any kind suffered by any person or in respect of any property.
  7. Attendees agree that they may be photographed and/orfilmed.Theimagesand/orfilmmaybe used for future promotional purposes related to Barangaroo, at no cost and without further request for consent.
  8. PMNSW is not responsible for the interference of the event by emergency services.
