Dancing by the Water NAIDOC Week 2025
Celebrate NAIDOC Week 2025 at Barangaroo with an immersive First Nations dance experience showcasing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture through movement and music.
Join us by the sparkling waters at Barangaroo, at the newly opened Pier Pavilion for a powerful celebration of First Nations culture through dance, music and storytelling as part of NAIDOC Week 2025.
In line with this year’s theme, “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy,” this dynamic event honours the passing of cultural knowledge to the next generation through traditional and contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dance.
Showcasing both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dancing styles, this immersive experience will take participants on a cultural journey through rhythm, movement, and story, highlighting the diversity and richness of First Nations traditions.
Led by talented First Nations' dancers, the program invites people of all ages to witness, connect with, and learn from the enduring strength, vision, and legacy of Australia’s First Peoples.
Celebrate NAIDOC Week at Barangaroo and take part in this moving tribute to the power of culture, connection, and community.
