Start of construction for the stunning Pier Pavilion

A spectacular public landmark is coming to Watermans Cove, Barangaroo. Pier Pavilion will be a place where people can shelter, meet, gather, and relax by the water, or enjoy a range of temporary, programmed events. 

Pier Pavilion will be a a triangular shape with curved sides. Some of the design features include:

• 86 columns at the pavilion perimeter 
• 18 metre double-sided permanent seat
• back of house facilities to enable small scale events
• a landscaped green roof that incorporates a 7-metre diameter oculus and is covered with native plants species to attract wildlife.
