Join us for a free celebration of First Nations urban beats and street basketball competition during NAIDOC Week. Leaning into this year’s theme For Our Elders, we’ve added a twist as we honour the trailblazers and advocates that led the way for generations.

3x3 Hoopz N the Hood invitational tournament (invite only)
Absorb the energy of the streets with a high intensity 3x3 basketball tournament (invite only), Hoops N The Hood brought to you by Promote the Goat from 1pm.

You have a chance to show your skills with Hoopz N the Hood 3 point shoot out and dunk competition, open to the public from 5pm. Places are capped and limited, registrations open soon.

Urban beats & sounds
From 5.30pm, experience an amazing line-up of First Nations artists with headline act, ARIA-nominated hip-hop rapper BARKAA alongside Tasman Keith, Nooky, B Wise, A.Girl, Mau Power, WIZZ, AIM 4 More, Munkimuk and Australia’s leading RnB DJ Nino Brown.

Eat & drink
Fuel up with all-day food trucks from 1pm and bar open from 5.30pm.

NAIDOC Up Late: Trailblazers highlights the cultural and community connections between First Nations people and those of diverse backgrounds, and their continued advocacy for social justice as trailblazers; honouring the generations that have paved the way for the new generation of leaders.
