Experience the National Indigenous Art Fair 2026 at The Cutaway.

Celebrate the richness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture at the National Indigenous Art Fair (NIAF) 2026, returning for its most ambitious edition yet at The Cutaway from 3 – 5 Jul, 2026.

Marking the first major cultural event in the newly transformed Cutaway, this year’s Fair will present the largest showcase of First Nations art and culture ever held at the venue.

Coinciding with NAIDOC Week, the event brings together artists, performers and communities from across Australia to celebrate Blak excellence in one of Sydney’s most exciting cultural destinations.

The National Indigenous Art Fair is one of the only events in Sydney where you can buy artworks directly from remote, community-owned art centres across the Northern Territory, Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia, with 100% of sales going directly back to the art centres, supporting artists and communities.

Kick off the weekend with the inaugural Opening Night on Fri 3 Jul , featuring live performances from acclaimed and rising First Nations artists, a powerful dance work by leading choreographers, a curated fashion parade highlighting contemporary Indigenous design and exclusive early access to the art fair in a vibrant, celebratory atmosphere.
