Barangaroo Reserve is firing up for Vivid Sydney 2026 as Vivid Fire Kitchen settles into its spectacular new harbourside home.

This free, open‑air festival favourite brings together Australia’s top culinary talent for 23 nights of flame‑cooked flavour, cultural storytelling and after‑dark energy—all set against Barangaroo’s sweeping waterfront views.
 

What to expect

A feast of fire & flavour

Inspired by the great Aussie backyard, Vivid Fire Kitchen dishes up live fire‑cooking demonstrations, tastings, talks and casual dining in a buzzing, community‑minded atmosphere. Every night from 6–11pm, chefs light up the grills while the harbour lights up the sky.
 

The Fire Pit - chef banter meets charcoal

Pull up for the nightly Fire Pit sessions where culinary heavyweights cook, chat, swap stories and serve up a signature dish you can purchase on the spot. Expect sparks (literal and conversational).
 

Food for thoughts stage

Serving ideas as hot as the cooking stations, this new stage features relaxed talks with authors, chefs, hospitality icons, social‑media food creators and innovators from across the country.
