Stukulele
(A.K.A. Stu Eadie), now based in Mullumbimby, has been performing at festivals and teaching ukulele for over 10 years. The ukulele (Ook Oo Le’ Le’) has taken Stu to places he never imagined, especially after drumming with some of Australia’s prominent bands in the '90s and early 2000s (Clouds, Whitlams, Karma County). But name-dropping gets you nowhere in the uke world—bring the joy or rack off.
Special Guests, Sunday 8 Dec
The Ukumamas
Slide that pile of washing to the side, block out your billy lids and tell that man of yours to wait just a minute while you tune in to The Ukumamas! Sisters Dixie and Ronnette Chandelle took a hiatus from performing with ‘The Fabulous Chandeliers’ to have bugalugs. Now they’re back with ukulele’s in hand and a never-ending list of chores on their minds, multi-tasking their way to the stage. With their signature plunka-plunk ukulele spin, no genre is safe from these sweet harmonising songbirds. They will have you toe-tapping faster than you can say, “toilet, teeth, bath and bed!”
