NAIDOC Week
NAIDOC Week is a national celebration held every July, recognising the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It is a time for all Australians to reflect on the strength and resilience of First Nations communities and to honour the world’s oldest continuous living cultures.
2025 NAIDOC Theme
This year marks 50 years of NAIDOC Week, celebrating the enduring strength and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The 2025 theme, “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy,” honours the resilience of past generations while spotlighting the young leaders shaping our future. At Barangaroo, a place named after a strong Cammeraygal woman, we recognise the power of First Nations voices, past and present.
