Devon Cafe’s original Surry Hills outpost was awarded ‘Best Food Cafe’ in the SMH Good Food Guide. Their branch in Barangaroo has opened, serving the same delicious brunch classics.
Devon Cafe fuses fine-dining cooking techniques with casual cafe classics and a dash of Asian flavour, with delicious results. If you’re after good food for brekky, brunch and lunch, plus a strong cup of coffee Devon should be at the top of your list.
Introducing Barangaroo’s best brunch restaurant
Devon Cafe boasts a luxurious indoor dining room and generous outdoor terrace, perfect for sipping a flat white in the morning sun. Their menu is packed with intriguing dishes, and includes breakfast, brunch, sandwiches, snacks, signature dishes, sides and desserts.
The serrano egg blini is a must try, featuring mini buckwheat pancakes, soft eggs, jamón serrano (Spanish cured ham) and hash browns. For lunch there’s a couple of katsu sandos (wagyu and chicken), plus a range of creative dishes.
Our personal favourite has to be the Devon mie goreng, with fried egg noodles, porcini bumbu, crispy shallots, fried egg and your choice of mushroom or fried chicken.
