The founders of started their first, small family-owned restaurant in Sydney’s Rozelle in 2012. Their recipe obviously hit the spot, because years later they’ve opened a larger 175-seater eatery right on the water, with the same passion for sustainability, and seriously fresh seafood.

This 6 Green Star restaurant serves simple but sophisticated seafood dishes, all sourced from Australian and New Zealand fisheries and farmers - alongside a generous menu of wines, spirits and local beers.

Unsurprisingly, is one of the best places to eat in Barangaroo for lovers of seafood. There’s a wide selection of raw bites, from Sydney rock oysters, to NZ king salmon tartare and scallop carpaccio. 

To start there’s smaller plates like chargrilled octopus with tahini and a classic prawn cocktail, followed by larger bites like a classic fish and chips (the best we’ve ever had) and NZ dory grilled with preserved lemon. 

Can't decide? Grab an Australian seafood platter piled high with freshly shucked oysters, octopus, focaccia bread, tuna crudo and other ocean-sourced bounty. All this is best served as the sun sets over the Sydney harbour with a citrusy Australian riesling.
