Oncore by Clare Smyth is the only international restaurant by Clare Smtyth, the only woman to ever garner three Michelin stars in the UK. Experience one of Sydney’s best fine-dining restaurants.

A sky-high fine-dining restaurant with stunning views across Sydney Harbour by three-Michelin-star-chef Clare Smyth.

Elevated 26 stories above Barangaroo’s waterfront is Oncore, a gastronomic experience by one of the world’s leading chefs. Smyth has taken inspiration from her highly lauded UK restaurant, Core, and added a Sydney flavour with local produce and dishes inspired by the harbour.

Introducing Sydney’s best fine-dining restaurant

Oncore has earned its position as one of Sydney’s best restaurants. It has earned three chef hats from the Australian Good Food Guide Awards and been recognised as one of the top fifty dining experiences in the world by the prestigious La Liste awards. Smyth has also been recognised as the world’s best chef by the World Restaurant Awards.

Her cuisine has a simplicity of style combined with sophisticated techniques honed during a career working in some of the world’s most celebrated kitchens, including 13 years with Gordon Ramsey.

A singular gastronomic experience

The menu at Core is available à la Carte at lunch or as a seven-course tasting menu at dinner. It celebrates sustainable Australian produce, sourced from local farmers and includes some of Smyth’s most famous dishes such as ‘Potato and Roe’.

To accompany your tasting menu there are 3,000 bottles of wine in the cellar and bespoke cocktails crafted by bar manager Roean Patawaran.

One of the world's most talented chefs

Early in her career, Clare Smyth trained in some of the most celebrated kitchens in the world and worked under Gordon Ramsay for 13 years before opening her own restaurant in 2017 - Core by Clare Smyth in Notting Hill, London.

“I named my first restaurant ‘Core’ as it is from the heart, a seed of something new, and has strong ties to nature. As the new restaurant will build upon the success of Core, it seems fitting to call it ‘Oncore’ — a play on the word ‘encore’ meaning a follow-on performance demanded by the audience.” - Clare Smyth”
